These cover the first outings through Emerald Lake. Before chasing a new vehicle, practice using the starter rig on mud, water crossings and gentle climbs. A completed route adds a vehicle; a rushed attempt that ends in recovery only costs time.

How to approach a new vehicle

Treat every unlock as a new field-test route. Check whether the trail favors clearance, traction, cargo space or careful recovery, then compare the vehicle against the terrain you want to explore next. Exact drivetrain, suspension and tire specifications are not published in this guide because those values need direct in-game verification.

When a trail repeatedly fails, stop forcing it. Drive a nearby cabin, scenic point or recovery job, improve your route knowledge, and return later. Challenge trails reset if you move too far from every checkpoint, so staying close enough to the intended line is as important as reaching the final marker.
